Stempad and copilot icons for better digital notes in STEM classes

When we started Stempad, we believed that the right tools could help technical teams spend more time thinking and less time wrangling PDFs, formatting diagrams, or digging through scattered notes. We built Stempad as a modern tool that could keep up with the fast-paced, evolving needs of anyone in STEM.

Today, we're taking that mission a step further with the launch of Stempad Copilot for all Stempad users. Copilot is your AI assistant built into the Stempad workspace. Whether you're taking lecture notes, solving homework problems, or just reviewing material, Copilot is ready to answer your questions.

By combining Stempad's block-based formatting with Copilot's powerful AI, we're making it easier than ever to ask questions, get answers, and stay focused on what matters most — learning and problem-solving.

What can you do with Copilot in Stempad?

Here are a few examples of how you can use Copilot with Stempad:

Summarize research papers
After uploading a PDF, you can ask Copilot to summarize it or answer specific questions. This is especially useful for lengthy research papers.

Understand math equations
Using Stempad's inline math block, you can send perfectly-formatted equations to Copilot, who can act as an AI tutor and help you solve complex math problems.

Make study guides & practice quizzes
Copilot can help you summarize all of your notes to create study guides and practice problems. This is especially helpful if you have a lot of disorganized notes to go through.

Review for accuracy
Before submitting an assignment or paper, ask Copilot to double-check your work for clarity, grammar, and factual accuracy.

Analyze data in a table
You can share tables with Copilot to get help analyzing your data, spotting trends, or answering questions about the numbers.

Fill in gaps in your notes
Missed part of a lecture or forgot to write something down? Copilot can help infer and fill in missing context based on what you already have.

Get help with scientific writing
Need to describe an experiment or explain a concept? You can ask Copilot to draft paragraphs, cite sources, or clean up your language.

Draft email or lab updates
Quickly write emails to professors, lab partners, or collaborators by asking Copilot to summarize your work or recent findings into a clear update.

Generate ideas and outlines
Whether you're starting a grant proposal or brainstorming research directions, Copilot can give you a head start with structured prompts.

Try it out!

We've added Copilot to the homepage of all Stempad users and are working to get all of our blocks to work with it as well. We hope you'll give it a try!

This is just the beginning. The future of STEM notetaking will be faster, more collaborative, and more intuitive — and we're building the tools to make that happen. We can't wait to see what you'll create with Stempad & Copilot.
